I don’t know about all of you, but I am really excited for Summer. Summer means fresh air, fresh grass and the opportunity for a fresh you. Here are some quick and easy body scrubs you can make at home to welcome summer with a scent of freshness.
Vanilla and Lavender
A simple scrub that has a wonderful smell and great benefits for your skin. Simply mix two cups of sugar with one cup grapeseed oil, add in one teaspoon of vanilla extract and 12 drops of lavender oil. This will last about a week stored in a simple glass jar, and if you use it three times in one week you should start to see a nice, natural glow.
Pumpkin Pie Scrub
I love eating pumpkin whether it is in pie mode, soup mode or spiced latte mode. But I had no clue how good it can be for your skin. For this scrub, all you have to do it mix one cup of brown sugar with half a cup of coconut oil, half a teaspoon of vitamin E oil and half a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. If you want, you can add in a half teaspoon of cinnamon to give it that extra aroma.
Another scrub that smells good enough to eat, this coffee rub will keep your skin feeling smooth and moist. Add together a quarter cup ground coffee and the same amount of sugar, then add in two spoons of virgin olive oil and three Vitamin E capsules broken up. Mix together and apply on your body, then scrub away!
