There's a New Toolbar Available!
Monday, February 25, 2008
We've been getting a lot of great feedback on the Price Protectr Toolbar... and we're listening! The newest version hides automatically when you're not at a supported retailer so it's tucked out of the when you're not using it. Pretty cool.

Don't have the toolbar yet? Find out more!

Nice update, the constant appearance was one of the reasons I didn't deploy it.

One suggestion though, the toolbar should appear when you're at PriceProtectr.com... just to validate that it is working properly at loading stores monitored.

Not really necessary, but something that prolly should make its way into the next update.

This toolbar doesn't seem to work properly for me. It hides on unprotected sites, but when I go to, say, Amazon, the toolbar is visible but tells me that the site is not supported.

I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.12 on Mac OS X 10.4.11, if that makes any difference.

You're right. I'll have a new version out tonight to fix it.

Thanks for the report and sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the quick response!

All fixed with 0.1.0.8. Sorry again for the difficulties and thanks for helping us with the beta test!

Latest version works great! Thanks!

This is going to be SO helpful for me. Love it. Kudos on the auto-hide, too.

Not to be a moaner, but is there any chance that it'll be customizable in a future version? Like, the ability to remove some buttons from the toolbar? (For example, I would remove Deals and Retailers, and probably the rating.) And for the Amazon deal buttons to be icons only (say, different colored dollar signs?) rather than all that text?

I know, people are so demanding! It's not a dealbreaker (though it would have been without the auto-hide), but just a wish. :-)

Great job, anyway!

Future versions will add more customizability. Glad you like it though, we'll keep working hard to make it better!
